  • Sorry I've not been here in AAAAGGGGEEESSSSS!

    I've not done a blog in so long (god I'm lazy!:oops:) so I thought it was about time I did one!
    I've decided to put up a photo I took today and the photo of me before I started to lose the weight, I just thought it would be nice to do a comparison.
    I've now lost a huge amount of weight and this is the best I've ever done on a diet but considering how much I've lost I personallt don't think I look like I've lost that much...Let me know what you think!

  • Week 3 weight in.

    Well the weight loss has slowed down quite a bit now but that was expected really, plus this week Jackie thinks I'm retaining water (don't ask!). Mind you I'm not to bothered by it because if I lose 3lbs every single week it works out just shy of a stone a month.
    I've now offically lost 1 stone in 2 1/2 weeks (1 stone in 2 1/2 weeks, WOW).
    I've had a pretty uneventful week otherwise (so I don't have an excues why my blog is late).
    Roll on next Thursday and hopefully no retaining water next week!

  • Week 2 weigh in (well sort of!!!)

    Well I've changed CDC this week because I just wasn't getting what I needed from my last one. My new CDC Jackie is sunshine on legs, totally what I need to push me through the next few months!
    The only downfall of this swap is that I've had to change the day that I get weighed on as Jackie doesn't to CD on a Sunday. I've had to switch to a Thursday, so this week I was weighed 3 days early so it kind of looks like I've not done so well this week.
    I had a good laugh at work on Thursday as I only have one pair of work trousers. When I last put them on, 6 days previously they fit quite nicely. I put them on again on Thursday and ended up running around the office all day holding them up and trying not to mooney at my boss! LOL

  • Week 1 weigh in (scary!!!)

    Well I've completed my first week of having nothing but shakes (and 2 soups after swapping some mid week with my CDC)! It was actually not to bad and a lot easier than I thought it would be.
    I thought I would crack mid week when I decided that I had to force myself to go food shopping with my other half.I've been craving carbs so once I got past all the frozen potato products (smiley faces never looked so appealing) I was totally fine with it.
    I've discovered some recipes online a couple of days ago and I've been trying them out for the last 4 meals, it just makes it a lot more interesting. The most interesting (and strange) thing about making muffins and such is that it now feels weird to chew!
    My first week finally finished this morning at 11a.m when I stepped on the scales at my CDC's house and found that I'd lost 7lbs this week!!! I'm over the moon and just hope the weight losses keep coming at this rate, if they do I'll be less than I was aiming for when I go to Florida in May, WOOHOO!!!

  • Here We Go Wish Me Luck!

    I've never been so excited about a diet!

    Tomorrow morning I'm going for my very first weigh in before i start my Cambridge Diet and for some weird reason I'm so excited anyone would think it was Christmas Eve.
    For those that know me I have done lots of weight loss plans in the past and the most I've ever lost is 2 stone (Slimming World) but as soon as I stopped going (I moved house out of the area of my club and never got around to finding my nearest one to my new home) I packed the weight back on plus a bit extra to boot!
    I'm looking at this diet in a completely new light because it doesn't involve eating at all it will take my focus completely away from food (no more boredom eating in the evenings) so I'll have to think of better things to do with my time - any new hobby ideas are welcome!
    I decided that I would set up this blog mainly to help me to keep focused but hopefully it will help others at the same time. I'm looking to do a weekly post after each of my weigh ins that will include my weight at that point and an up dated photo.
    So here we go, wish me luck!
